|
|
Hi everyone, 1979 924 n/a here.
The rest of the lights are working but the brakes don't light up at all. I heard that I need to replace the switches on the master cylinder.
My question is, are the two brake light switches for each brake light? (Left/right)
Also, is it strange both would be out?
And lastly, are they easy to replace? I bought new ones and haven't done this before. Is there any chance brake fluid brake will leak out while replacing?
Thanks for looking!

Brake fluid would definitely leak out... but if I were you I'd check for power and ground first. Make sure the electrical system is good. If you short out the switch, do the lights come on? If not, replacing the switches is a waste of time. _________________ Vaughan Scott
