after reading the 6 page vaccum/british vs american pisssing contest i discovered the 3 mm bolt for the cis and gave it a turn and now itll run on its own now heres the questions. im missing the little plug for the adjuster hole on the cis, will that make a tuning difference since its a vacc leak? and is thagt plug available anywhere? question two now that its running the valves click like mad is it possible the lifters are far enough out of adjustment its effecting the vacc signal? also have the oil light comnig on at around 800 rpm, should i be concerned? or should i just change the oil and see what happens? third since imlazy and dont wanna search right now, is there a prefab cage kit for 924s? this is gonna be a 24 hours of lemons car. also im gonna need wheels for it. i heard 4 lug mustang fits true? ideas?

The CIS plug doesn't really have much impact on an NA, but definitely on a Turbo. I'm checking on availability of those bits right now, and hope to have an answer by next week. But you could just as easily use a hardware store rubber or cork stopper.

Yes, the lifters almost certainly need adjusting, and if they're out badly, it can affect vacuum. So can ignition timing. So check them both (lifters first).

Re: oil pressure, change the oil and don't use 5W or 10W30. 10W40, 15W50 or 20W50.

Yes, early Mustang wheels have 4x108, but may not have the correct offset.

Prefab cage, the cheapest bolt in version I know of is from AutoPower.

Noooooooo!!! Don't do that, you need access to that to adjust the fuel. Either do nothing, or get a cork or rubber stopper as I suggested for a few pennies at the hardware store.

regarding your valve noise, there is an elbow that leads to an oil bar, make sure it is properly in place, and not leaking oil pressure.
