I am still having same problem and asking for help again. I have a 88 924s that the popup roof motor is only operating when switch is pushed torwards the front of the car. I can't hear the motor run at all when pushed towards the back of the car. I want desparately to get a good close seal on the popup roof so I can wash the car. With the motor only turning the one way, it just figures it has to be the way that brings the cable away from the popup roof and thus the entire cable is in the wheel well area. I've had it a tad over 3 weeks and haven't been able to wash it yet so any help would be appreciate |

Eric,
I went there and reading thru now. Thanks sooooo much for the information. I'm hoping this will answer all my questions. I will post a follow-up after I try to get back at it this weekend.

Eric,
Thanks again for the link. It was a wealth of information and I'm hapy to report it has ben fixed. It was the little micro switch that wasn't making at the front of the headliner area. If anyone is having sunroof/pop-up roof problems, I'd highly recommend this information. I'd even go as far as suggesting that it be downloaded and kept with other manuals as the hayes manuals I have do a poor job in regards to pop up roof. Thanks again!
