It's now posted... notable items are threaded-body shocks/struts and IT Comp Adjustments have both been recommended to the Club Racing Board. Now it's time for member input. Keep in mind how many new options we'll have for shocks and struts now if we can use threaded-body! I think Ledas and Bilsteins, not to mention more Konis, etc, now become allowed for IT. Be sure to put in your opinion/feedback to the Club Racing Board!!!
Also noted in the detail about IT Comp Adjustments are a number of proposed reclassifications (as a starting point for fixing the IT listings)... while the 924 isn't listed specifically, it is even slower (can't be faster than) the Toyota FX16, which is recommended for a drop to ITB. If this goes through, chances for us to drop to ITB should be very good.
Also, for you Prod guys, note that the EP 924 weight has been changed... _________________ Vaughan Scott

Unless these other car owners really put on an all out campaign and got a lot of grassroots involved, I can't see how the SCCA could over look us. All those cars they listed have been out with us on the track and have been faster than us and putting them from ITS to ITA w/o addressing our concerns would be pretty sh&%ty. I hope they move us for the '05 season. But Rome wasn't built in a day either.

Here's what's written in May's FasTrack...
EP
58. Porsche 924 p. 57, change the specs
as follows: Weight (lbs.): 2140.
59. Porsche 944/924S 2.5L (2V) (83-88 )
p. 57, change the specs as follows: Weight
(lbs.): 2390, Notes: Dry sump is allowed.
Note - item 58 says the Porsche 924's weight has been reduced to 2140lbs. Item 59 references the 1983 through 1988 924S and 944, 2.5 L engined cars. As far as I know, no version of the 924 (non S) is legal in EP. Could item 58 be referring to the FP 924 2.0L??? |

| The 2.0 NA is a full-prep EProd. It was only classed in F (Limited Prep) last November. |
