Hmmm, I'm sure there was a degree of normality around here once upon a time...
This is the kinda thread where joes924racer would fit in perfectly, if anything he'd be a representation of pure sanity _________________ Mars Red '78 Euro 924 n/a

Definitely - crack a window open when you're dealing with that Flatulair. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

| A little known trick among racers is to replace the air in your tires with helium. This will actually reduce the weight of your car, and will virutally eliminate bottoming out, since your car will now float gently back to earth if it should become airborne. The only downside is that a puncture causes a small explosion. |

Smoothie thanks for the help. You are right in opening a window when using Flatulair. I suggest that when you use the can aim toward the window to avoid small or large particles from injuring you.
If it does happen then flush. _________________ "Never let them see you sweat"

I want #2 looper registration.
Can I upgrade to the flatuair without changing to 14" rims? It's too expensive to use on my 15" wheels and 14" wheels would save me a considerable amount of booty. And that's booty...with a B.
I had German-Chinese food for lunch today. Two hours later I was hungry for power. |

Can you use flatuair in a white car or should I use structurair?
I assume flatuair will be fine in my Mocha Schwartz colored 931.
In what position should one place the spare before using these products? |

paul using flatuair in a car which is Mocha Schwartz will end in disaster... as the pigment in the paint is dense and will cause too much downforce and as a result the flatuair in the tyres will be too hard and thus the suspension will be under alot of pressure and may crack/disintergrate...
in my black 924 i used helium in the tyres and i noticed a HUGE improvement in acceleration!
another idea would be to create a vaccuum in the tyres and make a small hole in the front of the tyre which would suck the air from atmosphere therefore forcing the car to move forward.. i have seen this done in a civic and he claimed it knocked 3 seconds off his 1/4 mile time!!
also a good tip to make your car faster as honda found out is: the more stickers the faster the car... also the small lip on the stickers creates more downforce at higher speeds...
hope this helps!

Sparky, you forgot about the huge wings that make Honda's go fast.
On rear wheel drive cars like ours I suppose the insainly big wing is best mounted low under the front bumper. Not only does it improve rear traction, but it also gives the sway bar the freshly sandblasted look. _________________ 81' 931 |

I almost forgot.
To improve speed and handling, You must lower your car untill you have constant wheel drag, and the occational frame drag, Do whatever it takes to eliminate wind drag... wind drag is the enemy. _________________ 81' 931 |

Mocha Schwartz cars can only use the FreshFart canned air. Comes in cases of 24 @ $5.50/can and it takes just about a case for all four tires. If you have the turbo, buy an extra case and run it through the intake. Works like NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWZZZZZZZZZZZ! Except it really stinks up the neighborhood.
Hmm...our UK friends seem to have gone home.

now how could be have forgotten to mention the neon lights under the car.. these also make the car faster...
also drilling holes in your exhaust to make it amazingly loud helps reduce weight and frees up the engine... may aswell remove a piston or 2 while your at it as i heard they put alot of drag on the engine... the extra injectors can be mounted into the exhaust to make a nice big fire which also makes the car faster!!!
dont forget that if your bonnet is sprayed a different color to the rest of the car it improves aero-dynamics... also dont forget mounting a roof spoiler upside down helps create lift to there is less friction between the car and the ground.. helping the car glide along the road...
best driving position which only top drivers use is to put your seat back as far as it goes and strech one hand out so it only just reaches the wheel.. gives you a much better feel of the road! _________________ When the checkered flag drops... The Bull$hit Stops
