What happened to all the "purists" out there. For God's sake he is going to replace a stock steering wheel! Where are all the cries of indignation?

The answer is right in front of you and he said it himself- The stock steering wheel gets in the way of his stock legs. DUH- quit hacking up Porsches and get to the root of the problem once and for all- Change the legs and please don't change what is truel an engineering miracle.
Where is your sense of decency man?!
I mourn the day that aftermarket parts for Porsches were ever allowed to be made.
Oh woe is me, alas the weight is too much to bear....

Was that too much? I thought I was just about right in tone, maybe a bit much though.

By the way Have fun with your car.

Ummm if you guys dont liked hacked Porsche. I better not post pics of the 77 924 project im ging ot be doing soon. My S is all stock and staying that way( aisde from some engine goodies) i was going to hack it but decided to get a pos to do it on. Things that are going it. Corvette Seats, Momo wheel, my own hand made roll cage, going to somthing with the bumbers, and a custom dash made out of fiberglass. I am also geting rid of all the factory gauges. Going with Carbon fiber aftermarket. I have almost all the gauges now except the speedo and tach.

That should make som purist cringe. This is all stuff i wnated to my S but decided it was to nice to try.

Sounds nice, post some pics

Purists are the same type who scream at me for putting a 400ci Ford V8 in an RX7, because it's not a rotary, so that destroys the car... Same people who blindly scream that it will ruin it's handling, not recognizing that a rotary weighs well over 300lbs.
