| I need to know what tire width is allowed. Rules state up tp 1 inch wider than stock and or fit in the wheel well w/o modification. Stock is 6" but there was a 7" sport option. I have 8" with 245's. Anyone running 245's on the rear in PCA?TIA D |

| Well my confusion was the wheel width or the tire width. It appears that the 88 924S has an option with 7" wheels which by using the rules 8" is allowable. But before I bought the new set of tires I was needing to figure out if I wanted to stick with the 245's I have or go smaller. I found a chart showing the shift points in relationship to the Toyo RA1 in size 245 and it shows the loss of time compared to a smaller width. So I opted for 225's. I wish I knew how to post this graph, others would find it interesting that are running RA1's.....The car is now "I" class legal! Thanks! D |
