Just a heads up. The Arlington Pick n Pull has a 1988 924S car in their inventory.
The car is black and I was mainly looking for a (black) dash and carpet.
Well somebody trashed the dash getting the gauge cluster out and the carpet was burgundy color and wasn't the loop pile that mine is although it was in good cond.
Right away this car was a little unusual in that it was a non sunroof model.
(I know thats popular with you race car guys and the headliner was nice too.) Also odd was the roll up windows and it had the smaller rear spoiler like the 924 Turbo (I don't know if those are common on the 924S). Oh, also no passenger side door mirror.
I found some unusual parts on this car and after doing some research I figured out that it was a SE (special edition?) model. I already snagged front and rear coilovers and sway bars (30mm front and 20mm rear) and the transmission.
The engine compartment seemed undisturbed and the underside of the car was really clean and from what I could see of the outside there was no real damage on the car, kind of a shame.
Just thought this might help someone.

Shame, that is an SE without sunroof option, so a more "pure" version, if it were closer and not already picked I would figure out a way to buy it back. _________________ 88 924S

I come from the world of old British cars, where anything with a rust free body is definitely worth saving, the greasy bits just bolt in. _________________ 88 924S
