If I didn't have an LSD I think more tire would be a bigger concern..
I think a nice 225 would do it for me though, for street driving.. _________________ 80 Turbo - Slightly Modified |

As long as its dry im fine without LSD on the roads. Its not so much tyre width as what tyres you use. The Federal ST1 195 tyres i use for the road are very sticky, much better than the toyo T1r in 225 i had before that. _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

If a 924 has grip issues on (a dry) street, then you have one of more of these problems....
You are lucky and pushing more than 225bhp
Using less than 205 wide tyres
Using old and wooden rubber compound
Driving on over polished tarmac with low friction
You need driver training and need to smooth out your car control
Need to stop using the e-brake and dumping the clutch mid corners _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife

+1
My R888's are as sticky in all wet situations as the Rainsports until there is standing water on the road. Then the Rainsports have a slightly more controllable slide/grip. The R's just let go without too much warning.
The LSD just means two wheels light up instead of one......but when they do you get more positive forward motion versus open diff _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife
