Hello 924 people.
I've bought my 1982 924 2.0 NA since 2 weeks. It's yellow, but not the original Rally Yellow, it's rather a "rubbish" yellow, because my assumption is that it was used by the wife of the previous owner, and usually a man would not love such a flashy yellow. In fact it was red, but the yellow has been sprayed over it
Car runs good, besides chronical rough idle issue.
I'm very happy with it, even if it's 32 years old, you really feel the german quality and almost everything still works great in it.
My plans are to tune it as a street legal project car, and participate to the DNRT here in the Netherlands (dnrt.nl) so what i needed was a good shell and engine, and i think i achieved that.
1150 Euros, less then 80.000Km proven on paper, no rust, worn interiors and crappy color.
I'm happy to join the group because i think that this is the place to be for 924 owners, and i see a lot of competence in this place.

Welcome aboard! Looks like a US bumper in the back! Nice car!

Thanks!
Oh yes! I forgot, it's imported from the US (don't remember the year exactly. It's on the papers somewhere)

Nice car but it's strange. It doesn't look like a US car, it doesn't have the reflector "zits" that the US ones do, and it has a US rear bumper and a euro front one. It also has the side indicators on the fenders that the euro cars only had. This car looks more euro than US to me...

I'm waiting for the GTS version. JK

Scorpiogt; welcome aboard! Were the side markers "shaved" when it was repainted?

Well. I wasn't even aware that my car should have them. Point is that the papers says that it's imported from the US in 1986. Then i don't know anything else.
Anyway the body will also change with time. So i don't mind that much

Welcome aboard.
You might wanna check if it holds the XK engine (ROW) and check your VIN.
