Here is a question that I have been thinking about and want some input from the community.
After owning a couple of Audi Coupe GT's one of the tricks to move the power band and get a couple of more ponies was to utilize the Turbo Camshaft in the N/A 5cyl motor. So taking this I was wondering if anyone has performed this type of upgrade in their N/A motor, or if there is any advantage to going that route?
Thanks for the input. _________________ Cheers;

On the 924, the cams are the same between the NA and Turbo.
There are aftermarket cams that work better with one or the other.
I'm running an Integral Stage 2 cam with a Franco automatically adjusting timing gear which provides a nice wide power curve since I've set the cam at a few degrees retarded below 3500 and then it goes to +7 degrees after that.
Without it, the 95hp wonder with the ITB's was all but gutless off the line (it still is, but it is better. The turbo I'm adding will help fix that for good, heh.) _________________ Stefan
