Hi,
The window trim off the top of the front window of my 924s fell off, so I got a spare part. This fell off too. I got some clips to hold it on but it did not seem to help. Can someone please advise the best way to secure this part? From the design it seems that the friction of the clips ought to be sufficient to hold it on.
Thanks,

I just removed a set of clips, for toofah king Vince, from an '83 944. The clips were coated in some kind of black tar-like substance. Probably similar to the glue they used on the windshield itself. Try that. _________________ '83 944 Track car.

Thanks, it looks like googling 'windshield trim sealant' brings up quite a lot of possibilities. I am sure there is something which will help and I will re-post if I discover anything useful.
In posting here I was really wondering if there was any way to find out that the 'proper' Porsche way was. I have a copy of the parts PDF but it doesn't have information about things like fixing glue. _________________ --

The guy who replaced the windscreen on my 924 said they usually use cyanoacrylate (superglue) to glue rubber trim to metal.
Trying to think what I used when I replaced the door trim. It wasn't cyanoacrylate; ISTR it was something like a rubber cement.
