My Newly rebuilt engine is in... Where is the best place to put a
1- Knock Sensor....some say block some say throttle body bolt( couldn't find old link)
2- engine side of main engine earth cable ( earths engine to chassis) _________________ 1979 NA
MS1..EFI..

As close to number 3 as possible, in the block.

There is a pre threaded hole under the mainfold that fits a bosch sensor perfect. According to the "bible" Bosch automotive handbook, the pleacement is pretty much spot on. I have my sensor there, works great! _________________ 1980 924 Turbo
