This is happening on my, new for me, 924S. Go to cold start engine cranks over and starts. If the car is hot about 90% of the time go to start car and the starter kicks over for about 2 seconds... pauses for about a second and continues this cycle until car starts usually about the 3 cycle of this happening. Thoughts?

Start by checking:

Battery clamps/cables
Connections at starter
Engine ground on back of motor under intake manifold
