This is Joshs (the next door neighbor on my right who has a 1 yr old baby boy & gave me the turbo shelby.) Its a suburu wrx... The side and back window are super dark. I like it. Ive looked up ciy window tint. If you have spray equipment the way to go about it is buy going to a hobby shop and buying a few bottles of transparent black paint .. reduce it and spray on light coats on the inside of the windows ..then you can clear it
with chip guard or clear. Im definitely going this way soon & will give it a try.

what the hell are you on about ??
it is illegal and dangerous to tint your windows with other than homologated tint foil.
in romania they confiscate your papers if they catch you with tinted windows that are not homologated.

in PA and the outlying states, you have to use approved window tinting material, unless you have a work vehicle like a cargo truck (I'm too lazy to pull up the guidelines for commercial vehicles)
in PA they do some spray tinting, but never dark, and the back of the vehicle can't have anything darker than 20% tint.
when I ended up with a crappy mitsubishi (complete with a complimentary fart can and
cone air filter) the PO put limo tint on the back windows. I was pulled over 5 times in a month for it before I had the dealership strip it for me.
The moral here is; check your local laws, then check again. Oh, and then speak to your local police about it to be sure.

Check the regs for the State of Oregon for window tinting. there is a specific limit to the amount of tint allowed and the cops will stop and harass you. Same with noise, lighting, etc.

A quick check on Google indicates it is about 35%

http://www.tintcenter.com/laws/OR/

Confirmed via this ODOT PDF link:

http://www.oregon.gov/ODOT/TS/docs/VehEq/Window_Tint_Brochure.pdf

Josh is likely illegal as that looks to be darker than 35%.

Personally, I don't think you'd want that kind of attention.

I won't even touch the paint idea as that is a can of worms if there ever was one. I try not to open more than one can of worms at a time.

Yeah, not saying I'm successful at it, but is a policy I try to follow (when I'm not chasing worms around that is)

I am sure "Josh" would be happy to know his neighbor is taking pictures of his car and house and posting them on the internet.
