Did you have to put in a tach adapter as well? What I've read about them has said you need that. Did you? _________________ Fred- 1979 924 |

Okay, so you take the green wire from the ignition control module and plug it right into the tach output of the MSD, and bob's your uncle.
If you could take some photos of how you install it, that would be cool. I want one of these MSD boxes for my car, and any experience with them is of interest to me. Thanks! Good luck! _________________ Fred- 1979 924 |

And the 77 stock distributor triggers the MSD box fine? I'm looking at upgrading ignition in my 77 to the same stuff I used in my Jeep, but I wasn't sure if that stock dizzy would trigger it.
I'm curious what the symptoms of the dead module were. I have a bizarre problem with my ignition right now, and all I can think to do is throw parts at it. It'll start and idle up to 2000 rpm, but no spark when the vacuum advance hits. I'm thinking dead module or dead coil, but no way to be sure without replacing them. |

Yeah everything on mine is stock.
There's a pic of where I mounted it. _________________ 81 924 N/A
