does it really make a difference to disassemble clean/rebuild and assemble the rear t-bar assy? _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits

The entire assembly was rebushed and t-bars were changed, the carrier was powdercoated, and all fasteners re-zinced.
Not sure I understand what you're asking. _________________ Toofah King Bad

High quality.
Rasta your posts (and others on here) are the cause of a little phenomenom called I-RACS which stands for Induced Reptitive Automotive Component Separation.
Symptoms include mental instability and the desire to pull every single peice of your car apart, clean it and have it powdercoated or plated. _________________ 1979 931 with a 350 chev

Does clean feel different? Now you're just being a wiseass.

You sure who the wiseass is here?
I don't know of anyone who would go to the trouble to take the whole rear end apart and not put new/upgraded components in.
I also don't know anyone who would swap in torsion bars and not bother to clean the parts off after disassembly.
So yeah, sounds like you're both wiseasses.
FWIW, I have the delrin and poly-graphite spring plate bushings... but because the car's never driven on the street, we never bothered with grease fittings... _________________ Vaughan Scott

Mine's actually a metal on metal bearing, so it seemed like grease fittings were a good idea. _________________ Toofah King Bad
