It is a 924 -85 with a Bieber GmBH cab rebuild. Also got 944 front and rear fenders as well as 944 breaks and wheelhubs. The front has recently been changed from 944 Turbo look to a 924 GTR replica. Also recently changed wheels from 16" 944 Turbo phonedials to these 17" 993 Turbo replicas.

What do you think ?

(pictures where taken earlier this year, snow is gone since a month or so)

I thought the computer always says "No" (Little Britain, anyone?) You have to reg to 944sverige.com if you want to see those pictures. It's a good looking B-cab but that front bumber looks too japanese somehow.

Ooopps... Sorry about that!

I thought I tried the picture links without being logged in to the 944sverige forum. I Will put the pictures on one of my websites server instead and link to that. Just goes to show that shortcuts isn't always the quickets way...

woohooo ! I'm officially off the hook for having an ugly front bumper !
sorry, dont like what you did with the front bumper.

the factory cabrio looks simply perfect...i never understood why Bieber made it look like this....its not ugly...but the factory one is better.

maybe if you lower the car it would look better...?

Hehe... everyones taste is not the same so you don't need to apologize!

I agree to the Bieber not looking as good as the factory 944 cabrio. But then again the 924 wasn't even available as a cabrio from the factory...

Personally I think the front looks better than the 944 Turbo look the car had before. The old frontbumper was of the kind that is made to fit the normal 944 front fenders and that didn't give the correct lines, it looked somewhat like a ducks nose. The 924 GTR copy fits better I think, even though it has a few holes extra perhaps.

The car is lower than standard, but I agree that it would probably benefit from being lowered a bit more.

But anyway, my wife likes the new front and it is her car.

In all seriousness, joking aside, looks pretty clean man! Cabs sure look different on a 924/944 but you also don't really ever see them, I can dig it.

I do love the paint color choice.

+1

I love it. I especially love the color. Reminds me of the dark blue pearl on Jaguar XJ220's

Thanks for the positive feedback guys!

The color is BMW Mauritius blue (if I remember correctly).

I hope the first real drive of the year will happen soon (first real drive in about 4 years actually...). Have to fix a coolant leek first, shouldn't be a big problem though. As always I just need to find the time...
