Just an FYI for anyone in the Pittsburg area, PUB Racing will be in your area for the last event of the season! NASA's 944Cup will be visiting Beaverun (http://www.beaverun.com) on Oct 19-20, and we will be taking part! Come out and check us out... We expect John Brown will be in attendance too, though the Browns' race car (931) will not make its appearance till (expected) the following 944Cup race weekend 11/2 at Summit Point.
It sounds as well like there will be a gathering of the 944Cup drivers and crew Saturday night after the first day of racing... I suspect other 924/944 drivers not actually taking to the track that day will be welcome too...

LJ and I are now both attending. I will be instructing for NASA in the HPDE groups. The car should make the trip, though not in race trim yet, LJ will run in the HPDE Advanced group and perhaps get an provisional license eval done prior to Nov at Summit Point. Staying at the Holiday Inn.
NASA events I have been to (all one of them) are non-spectator. So, at the gate, you need to say you are attending to crew for someone. Give them Vaughans name and car number! Or mine, car number 931. |

Sweet!!! It's gonna be a fun weekend!!!
Yes, my crew and I are going to be in the Holiday Inn too.
John, do you need one of the 924.ORG windshield stickers for that car? I could see about getting another printed up in time... was about $25 IIRC for the actual production cost, $35 for the layup/artwork cost. Aw heck, I'm never going to be able to do that all in time anyway... should focus on having my car ready for this weekend instead!
My car number is, as you all well know, #77. SCCA doesn't allow us 3 digit numbers.

Looks like it's going to be a very good race weekend; I just received an email last night indicating that there's 17 cars (me and 16 944's) registered for the event, which means that we get our own run group (no having to mix it up with the Miatas or whatever) for the whole weekend. Porsches only! Waterpumpers only!
