Well, mostly I am happy to have a job and can finally afford to pay Porsche some attention. When I realized how expensive owning one of these cars could actually become I jokingly named her Mercedes. She is a no power body rolling piece of German engineering. It will take a little bit of money and a whole lot of education to get the parts and install them myself; no big whoop if you own one of these cars. No more 45, that is replacing the TB @ 45K for me. I paid a guy who mostly works on the more expensive brethren to use genuine Porsche parts, everything that could be replaced, replaced at TB service. If it don't last another 97K + whatever other mileage was put after the odo after the gear broke; I’ll install a 4.3L Chevy V-6 crate for the same cost of 2 TB services. Besides, it’s the only real way to get significant HP gains for such a fine chassis. For now I am happy to take the good and the bad together and hope she'll last that long.

If you go with the 4.3 chevy route, I have some custom headers you may be interested in. They were specially made for that exact conversion.
