As for paint, I think it sounds odd but someone must make reflective paint.
The yellow or white stripes in the street are reflective. The paint has ground glass in it. Ask me how I know. _________________ "Never let them see you sweat"

Does it have something to do with a 100-yard dash? _________________ 78 924 NA

When we got married we had a custom bed made larger than a king size bed.
I use the paint to find my wife.
True story
My father was given a can of yellow stripe paint from a sanitation worker and he had it for a while. He was an immigrant and didn't know they made that kind of paint. So one day he painted a garage door on some property we owned. Every time we went there at night it would light up. We laughed for years. That paint is hard to get off. This was in the late 50s. Who knew. _________________ "Never let them see you sweat"

Wow , I never noticed the PORSCHE was embedded in the spoiler until I saw this thread. Now I notice it every time I walk by it.

It was yellow paint on the garage door. Dad was not aware what type paint it was. He was from Europe and not to up on this crap. This is probably before any of you were born. In those days you used what you had and that is what he did.
This is the truth and I resent the snide remark.

In the spirit of the OP, another good cheap mod is similar detailing under the hood:
SONIC06's engine bay
941's engine bay
