It was bound to happen, but now it finally has! Congratulations to the proud owners, Albert Gabriel of Kamloops, BC and Brad Wright of Selby, ONT, owners of the first pair of sequentially numbered 924's in the Register, 1977 924's numbers 9247204066 and 9247204067.

Just goes to figure it'd be a pair in Canada! Another Canadian Conspiracy, no doubt...

Hmmm, now what to send for a prize...

What's an appropriate 924-specific trophy? Joe's #1 bearing shell? A set of oil pressure gauge and voltmeter that are rigged to drop to half the normal reading when you flick on the switch? A rusty battery box that'll leak on your carpet? LOL

I wanna hear some good ideas here...

BTW, guys - I'm out of town this weekend, so don't bother trying to hunt me down... actually, I'll be in Ottawa, back home, visiting family... grandfather's 80-th birthday celebration...

Cheers! Enjoy the weekend!

Wow! So many choices! How 'bout a bronzed burned out in-tank fuel pump mounted on an attractive walnut base? Or a miniature cracked dash? Or maybe just an empty wallet?!
