Well, no... But I would advise you use fiberglass, it's a lot cheaper, and you will probably have to do a few practice pieces before you get it right.

There is this faux carbon fiber sheet stuff, it sort of like linoleum, you just put it on...

Hey!
Ok I have a decision to make: I'm going to paint the car gaurds red again, should i get red seats with black vinyl ears and black 4pts with the carbonfiber dash, door panels, and rear surrounds? or the all black seats with red belts? And if i was to go with the red seats idea should i get a carbonfiber steeringwheel and knob or a red and black wheel with a red knob? The tan is only temporary for a while... the carbonfiber updates are simple and not very difficult. Covering a factory dash cap with carbonfiber will be somewhat interesting. the door panels and so on are a no brainer. The product i'm looking at is a vinyl self adhesive carbonfiber thats heat shrinkable and is for use on dashs. with the charcoal colored interior carpets it'd look very nice

Ok once again everyone croaked... I'm gonna go with the black seats w/red belts and the carbonfiber/tan interior.
I'm setting out to restore the rear hatch area. That rubber pad weighs alot... might take it out and cover the parts that are important with plastic and then lay thin carpet down over it, I'm going to make the rear end sort of new generation style with cargo netting and speakers. It should look very new and be pretty awesome I'm saving for the seats as we speak...

Any ideas for anything interior related just post away

Ok, this summer has officially sucked, my interior isn't how I want it. So tomarrow, the porsche is getting revamped again/more. I learned some more history about my car today... The lady who had it last abused it ALOT and thats why it looks like crap, drives like crap, and is so hard to clean up to look nice again...
I took the ac out because it's blown, the front ends off... it's on jacks... I'm going to do an entire interior touch up and recoloring tomarrow after work... it'll take 5-6 hours... It's a porsche, it's spose to look new, be safe, and be driven(not abused)...

Why does EVERYTHING HAVE TO BE SO COMPLICATED?!! I just want it done, clean, and stylin without cracks, not to mention moving down the road happily passing people...

Ya know I took out my dash and grinded the swollen cracks down made a groove where the crack was between an 1/8 and a 1/4 wide [just to get all the loose stuff out of there] Then I poredresin in the groove and put fiberglass over the top and bondoed the
whole top and sanded it with a straight edge I also cut some 1/8 plastic sheeting to fit in the speaker whole & fiberglased it in then covered it with bondo, its looken good not done though.Thats how you fix those cracks
