Well, I woke up wide awake at 1:30 AM EDT, couldn't fall back to sleep, so went out to the garage to attend to a few things I fell behind on cuz I was taking Tuurbo's advice earlier in the evening (I'll let you figure out which part)

So I replaced the fan switch in the 941, disconnected the O2 sensor cuz the burning oil from my turbo keeps fooling it and mucking up the fixture...I mean f*** ... oops, you get it. Put a couple of orders together for peterld and Scorpio, looked for engineer.white's coolant hoses, blah, blah. Just puttered around a bit...so I could maybe get a little more sleep...

So back to bed at 4:30 AM, up by 5:30 AM and now at work.

Wife and I car pool, gets her to work by 6:45 AM, me to the office by 7 AM, which means my day ends at 3 or 4 PM

More afternoon/evening hours for wenching & wrenching

(well, actually, just lovemaking to my wife, but the rhyme was too good to pass up. See, tuurbo, I'm taking your advice!)

What kind of fast jets? Anything cool for an 70s/80s child who spent summers near the Waddington base? Tornado? Buccaneer (are those still even operational)?

Ideola heh

I'm the 900 lb guy who can't get off his couch.

Watching CNN, called my wife, gotta get a bearing and hub installed on my Hyundai...gotta order a second bearing set for the rear wheels of the Porsche - AutoMotion doesn't say which bearings are which when you order and I think they don't even have both of the needed ones for the rear drum...plus the other Porsche To Do items (dozens).

I've got a big To Do list but I've got to totally push myself to DO it.

Pretty Cool!!!

As you can see in the pic below, like any red-blooded male I am a military jet lover. The 2 posters on the back wall are spotter guides from an RAF airbase in the late 60s or early 70s. My Grandfather was in the RAF before, during and for a good stretch after WWII. He still had good contacts on the RAF bases in the Lincolnshire area until the 80s, so as a grade school kid I got to see some pretty neat behind the scenes stuff.
