Air conditioning knob removal!!!!

How do I get the aircon knob off of my center consol???? I cant see any screws holding it on and if I just pull it it doesnt budge it just turns the air con onto boost.

I know it sound stupid, but its baffled me!!!

Mine has two knobs - one in front of the other. Both pull off straight out. Once the knobs are off, there's a nut there to remove.

There is another type of knob shown in the manual. If you have that one, it will have a small rectangular hole on the knurled part of the knob for access to the rotary knob lock. Press in on the lock with a small screwdriver and pull the knob off, then unscrew the excutcheon.
