Today I measured the 0-100 kph performance on my 924 with Driftbox by Racelogic. It's GPS based like more expensive V-Box but doesn't have realtime telemetry, instead it saves data to memory card.
Sooo, 0-100 kph was 6,1 seconds with 0-60 kph being 3,0 seconds. That shows that there was basically no traction and it felt like that also : wet road with occasional snowy islands on the tarmac.
Wheels were 16" BBS RS with 225/50 Blizzaks on them, 4 speed 924 gearbox (5speed is out right now for LSD install).
But, I'm pulling it out of my a$$, but I'd expect realistically around 5,2-5,4 seconds with 5speed box, non-slipping clutch, clean air filter (current one is.....shitty?) and better traction.
Still, pretty good! _________________ '83 924 2.6 16v Turbo, 470hp

| My head is swimming, so much information. I can see I'm going to have quite a bit of studying to do. |

As for studying, go get a copy of "Maximum Boost" and read it at least twice.

| ok i finally welded together my intercooler piping and exhaust side, all the plumbing is done and there are no leaks. i started the car am im scared to run it becase i know im supposed to enrich the fuel ratio but i dont know how much, and other then that i think everthing should be okay, im running 8 psi. oh and i pulled a 931 head from a junk yard. would it be a good idea to bolt that up wtih a new gasket? would i need to do anyything else? |

Here's yet another reference to fuel enrichment for CIS that I dug out of my bookmarks. Note that this individual is using two injectors between the IC and TB, controlled by an aquamist MF2 unit.

hi
i am also going to install turbo in my 924 n/a.
My question is:
is it possible to mount the turbo charger on the other side ? there where is exhaust ? or there is no space for it ? _________________ P924 2.0 '77 -> 125 PS sold

You can. . .see e.g., Porsche 937 and 951. If you look at this pic carefully, you can see the exhaust setup. It splits after the header, with one side going to the wastegate, and the other side crossing under the bellhousing to the turbo.
