Well Rasta?

Can you find any other problems while you`re looking?

Heres a start:
1. No condom on headlight motor
2. Supercharger is missing
3. .............................
4. .............................

Thanks mate

The biggest problem is that your setup is not in the right car - ie mine!!

Yea thats an aftermarket tank mounted on the original bracket that the early cars have on the chassis rail. Eventually intend to swap to a later model one that mounts on the RH inner fender.

It not only runs but runs remarkably better than the stock CIS ever did. Have done 5000Ks so far on this set up and am as happy as a pig in $hit with it!
Would have been a better pic in the sun as the flash in the garage gave too much reflection. Was just a quick shot to show Rasta that I accepted his previous recommendation regarding the tensioner.

That intake is only temporary as I intend to run it to a FMIC via the RH top radiator support panel, and in from the other side connected to an SC14 blower. Had so much enjoyment driving it lately that i`ve been slow making the blower bracket.

Been monitoring the IAT and datalogs reveal that the biggest temp rise has only been 15C while stationary in the garage tuning on a day with 40C ambient. Get around 10C rise above ambient due to heatsoak in heavy traffic but quickly drops when moving. Only a few degrees at a suburban 60Km and virtually no rise at all at faster speeds. So really im happy with that too.

And thanks guys for the compliments.

Definitely Min.

More power, vastly improved drivability, better economy, smoother idle, easier starting, less weight, and confident of superior reliability.

You know.
CIS owners dont!

dunno about you, but after getting it working awesome, I kept playing with it and getting it better and better it became an addiction. I had to cut myself off. heh. Its the single best thing I've done to my 924 so far.

Come on Roger, you now need to put some of the gory details into your signature! Just to rub it in some more... bastard.

Holy crap!! That's BEUTIFUL man. You do nice work! Almost hate to see you mess it up with more plumbing. It 'll be worth it though .

How much time did you spend just polishing that intake?
