|
|
I was searching Car Domain and I found a picture of this strange front spoiler. It isn't any of the usual 944 kind that you see normally. It looks more like something off a 930. Does anyone have any idea where these come from? I wouldn't mind having one, this car looks the business...

Appears to be the same one I have on my PCA "J" class car.
Purchased it from Auto Atlanta in 2003.
Would post a pic of it if I knew how.
The old Hausbruan group was going to take mine and modify it for brake ducts, fill in the radiator area and lower the lip then market them.
But it all fell through.
Gives the 924 a unique look.
Get lots of complements on the addition |

I like the look of the fiberglass upper. I know AIR sells a '944 style' 924 one, but I personally think the sides flare out too much considering the 924 doesn't have rocker panels to match the flare.
The pic I posted however just looks dead sexy. _________________ MJ Eckert-Schumacher

I like that one as well and have wondered where to get one since coming across this pic a while back...
I think it looks pretty good for what it is (a bolt on air dam) and I guess one could fit it perminently and smooth it into the body. |

I really like that front lip.
Anyone ever tried making a chin spoiler similar to this one?
A friend of mine has one on his vw rabbit, and it looks really smooth. It's a pretty subtle and kind of sleeper-ish

Probably just me. It makes it look like a Toyota MR2. _________________ 1979 924 (Gone to a better place)

I used to have one of these back in 1997. They were available through Autoatlanta (770)427-2844 back then it only cost $99. . It worked great for handeling. Hope this helps. _________________ So many cars so little time. |

The red car looks almost identical to the 1980 924 that I am selling. It has the same front air damn.
My car also has side rocker covers and a rear Euro Valence.
It does make the car look sharp. _________________ 1982 924
