All winter, I go out to my garage and start up my 924 every Friday night. I let her run while I nurse a Rolling Rock. Every now and then I miss a Friday, but its my little way of keeping her fresh and juiced up for a break in the weather.

Well, the 5+ inches we (in Chicago) had sitting on the -10 degree frozen ground for a number of weeks quickly melted this past week. I began to get the feeling that I might get her out at least around the block.

Then, tonight came. Already and inch of snow on the ground and its only be three hours.

Damn, I want to drive that car so bad. I love my daily commuter (Subaru Impreza Outback, it handles nicely and I have my fun. But with new Bilstiens and rubber all around, I've yet to get the 924 on the road since.

I feel a little better after posting this, but its like that damn ground hog not seeing his shadow - come on already . . .

Nope. Not where I used to live and going back to. They haven't had snow yet, and the flowers are all coming up. We used to have a little snow, but that was before the whole Global Warming thing...

No snow this year! Only once 2 cm for about 10 hours.
Spring is on its way, 924 is ready to rock...
Waiting for a dry new paved autobahn.

I was taking my sunroof off in the middle of january, and just yesterday... and today!

That's the one nice thing about living in Georgia.

Your out of your mind .. you need to put down the rolling rock
immediately and put it in first & go around the block.. yea
Its crazy waiting for winter to blow.. today its 39 degrees and Ive
went thru my first propane tanks the size the big barbecues
use. I only have 2 lugs on each of the 4 wheels at the moment.

Last sunday, 13.5" of snow fell in st. paul, mn. The last couple days, we received 12 more inches. We're in a bad drought in the midwest, so this will help that, but not my spring fever!!

I like the snow being a native of Colorado we got a lot of it.. some fond pastimes hickey bobbing to all hours of the nite.. lots of sledding
or going fast downhill on just about anything.. one time I was 10
and received 30 stiches on the top of my wrist from going downhill
on a trash bag.. that freaked my mom & sisters out big time.. me
showing up at the door at home with a door knob sized hole on top
of my wrist ... Yea lol then of course there was the walks home from school when I got close to home the older neighborhood kids were waiting to attack the youngsters with large hard thrown snow balls...
We also used to jump of the roof into the snow drifts that collected
on one side hahahaha hhaa ha ha haa .. . yea baby...
I got pretty good at building snow forts spent a lot of time in them
lets see what else oh yea large snow men.

Snows peaceful isn't it. I got to go out &
add some clear pearl to my cargo area.
mucho-gracias amigos.
