| Hey guys I busted my drivers side door handle off and need to get a new one, I am looking on ebay and I am wondering what models will fit a '87 S, I can get a VW door handle a lot cheaper, Thanks! |

VW door handles are not an exact duplicate. VW handles come in plastic or metal, and are sometimes slightly larger or smaller, depending on the model year. the linkages and key cylinders are also different, and are the individual parts inside of the lock cylinders.
The door handles on the 924S are the same as those on a 81 or later 924, or a 944 from 82 to 85/1.
I think that the later 944 door handles with Porsche stamped on the fronts will also fit, but I have not installed them on a 924S or 924 myself. |

| alright thanks! glad i didn't waste $17 on some VW GTI door handles just because they looked the same |
