ok, so my car has been running pretty good lately. I (dumbass) messed around with fuel co2 mixture screw and cant seem to get it right again. When I turn the co2 screw clockwise does that add or lesson the fuel?
clockwise??
counter clockwise??
oh, is there a specific amount of turns as to where this should be?? like if i turn it all the way clockwise is there a certain amount of turns back? I have a spare air meter and tried to coount the turns one way till i could go no further but I reached 35 turns and there was no end??
thanks
mike

clockwise = rich
anticlockwise = lean
when you played with the adjustmentscrew you might want to do a basic
adjustment / setup.
Take of one fuelline (one that leads to the ignitionvalves ) at the fueldistibutor, hotwire the fuelpump ( must be pumping while adjusting the mixture ), and turn the adjuterscrew until fuel just lightly comes out of the fueldistibutor where you took off the fuelline. |
