I hate to tell him, but the wheels are worth more than the car. and it's nothing close to the "apraised" value of $14000. I kinda want to go visit it at night and wipe off one of the zeros on the windscreen.

I think I have those same seats, I bought them used for $200. and I KNOW those headlights are $20 ebay units cause I have a similar pair. (PS, they don't work that great).

If you think that's bad take a look at this item on ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=006&item=160035166146&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

The bidding started at $28.00 and has gone up from there.

my opinion is that overall the car is pure crap. I'm realy sorry to see that people are trying to improve the look of these cars and are failing miserably.

the front bumper is crap....the stock one looks way better...the rear bumper same story. The rear weels need spacers...the car looks like a tram with the weels back into the body. The rear wingy...looks like its...erm..not usefull...
The side porsche decals are Ferrari like...and they dont go on this type of body.
The interior is awfull...for god's sake...why would someone paint small bits in silver+blue when the car is RED+BLACK and has YELLOW writings on the dash ?
The steering weel is ugly... but i like the seats very much...those are the only seats i would put into my 924 insdead of the stock ones.

Morghen......Tell us how you really feel. The money requested is in Lire. At 2000 to a dollar that makes it a 100 dollar car. Not bad.

but!!! It has a cup holder!

I would rather have a 944 turbo S and blow that sucker off the road and still have $5K in my pocket!

Never mind that you could likely get a normal 944 turbo in excellent shape for around 10k, buy yourself a decent used winter car and blow him off the road (or track to be safe) in all weather conditions.... and still likely have some money left over. 19K... LOL what a joke.

Maybe 19,000 pesos for that wreck. assuming you could auction the timing belt cover for $132.50, that would bring the price down to about $1600US. 1500 for the wheels and 100 bucks for the rest of the car sounds fair.

I'd say it's far from a "wreck" Not worth $19,000 . But it's a lot nicer than mine......and I bet a lot nicer than a lot of the "critics" on this board.....Do you guys actually really believe that car wouldn't turn heads if it drove down your street ???

I definately think it is nice. Good taste? maybe not. Some things on it were a little chinsey I have to admit, but I think it looks ok. Not worth $19000. I would drive it...after removing a few things...

That's useful. The car was even running beforehand!

How did they get it off if the car was running? wouldn'd the other belts turning hurt your hands?
