Vaughan (or somebody else):

Do you have a write-up of Hot lap at Mid-Ohio? A Video?

Where are the flag stations? I found a facility map(s) but none of them shows locations of the flag stations.

I appreciate you help.

Thanks

I have not been there in a while, and things have changed a fair bit - I'd recommend checking for the same on rennlist...

The school at Mid Ohio had one of the best training videos. Check with them to see if they still sell it. The basic line will still be the same.

1 - just before the bridge driver's right
1A - Pit out exit, driver's left at end of fence
2 - driver's left at chicane entrance
3 - center of keyhole
4 - driver's left halfway between 3 and 5. Rarely used.
5 - Pro starter stand (it moved with the new pavement).
6 - does not exist
7 - driver's right, end of fence at the end of the backstraight
8 - top of the esses, driver's left
9 - bottom of the esses driver's right at end of wall
10 - driver's right at top of hill after the pedestrian bridge - end of wall
11 - driver's right at righthand corner into Thunder Valley
12 - does not exist
13 - driver's left after bridge in Thunder Valley. Rarely used.
14 - driver's left at lefthand turn exiting Thunder Valley. This is the Black Flag station.
15 - driver's left at the entrance to the Carousel
16 - driver's right immediately before the frontstraight.

And your "R.I.P." is premature.... It's taking longer dues to constraints on critical compenents (time and money!), but it is definitely getting reborn again.
