iirc Racing said that with a stock head they were around 11:1 . You need to cc the head to run them on stock rods.My .02 _________________ 1979 Euro 931, Olive

My calculation was 10.7:1 with the 924 head and 8.9:1 with a 931 head. That's one of the things that leadfoot is checking. _________________ 1979 924 (Gone to a better place)

cc'ing a head is to remove material from the combustion chamber so that they are all the same volume. This smoothes any sharp corners and adds cubic centimeters so you can do the math and figure out exactly what your CR is.
I'm pretty sure Racing said he cc'd his head to 20 or 22 cubic centimeters per chamber in order to get his CR right for 87mm flat tops. _________________ 1979 Euro 931, Olive
