Hey,
I'm thinking about possibly getting a 924 for a daily driver and was wondering how much room there is in it to hold stuff? I think max I would ever need is two golf bags. Do you think it could hold it with another person?
Thanks! |

Yup, you could put two golf bags in the rear hatch area without even putting the rear seat down. Atleast my bag fits that way, but you could take another person in the passenger seat no problem. I think it's Khal on here that fit an entire surround sound set(floor standing speakers, rears, center, components and all) in his 924 with room for him to still drive it home!
Welcome to the board, I think you'll find it a helpful place. _________________ Mike

No problem at all and with the back seat folded down, you will be amazed at how much room there is in this car. I've carried stuff that wouldn't fit in the trunk of a much larger car. _________________ -Stu

we get two golf bags (with buggies still attached - yes we are bloody lazy) in the back with the back seat down every week no worries. once did two bags + buggies attached with the rear seat up, although that was a bit of a squeeze.
there is alot of space back there. _________________ People who think they know everything really annoy those of us who do. |

I've been known to bring a SAAB motor and tranny home in the back of my toofah. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

I've also had 5 coeds packed into one of my toofahs....
(two in the passenger seat, and (with the rear seats down), 3 in the hatch laying face forward on their stomachs.) BTW that was in the seventies when mini skirts and halter tops were in. Best view in my rear view mirror of all time! _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

Hehee, 924 is really amazing what concerns cargo. For example: I purchased a new door + mounts and brought it home in my toofah. When I put the door in the car near the hardware store, people thought I was nuts and that it won't fit there. Yeah right!
Oh, and I bought the entire 951 suspension (torsion bar carrier, control arms, shocks, struts, brakes and drive shafts). I put them all into one little 924, though only one 15" wheel fitted also, 3 were left waiting for the other turn _________________ '83 924 2.6 16v Turbo, 470hp

Oh the days....
If they still had drive-ins, this would be the perfect car. Back it in, pop the hatch, back seat down... ahhh to be young again... _________________ -Stu

When my father flys in, we go golfing and it fits both sets of clubs from left to right in the hatch, I didn't even know the rear seats could fold down.
I'll take pics soon if you need proof!

Well now I see someone had their morning vitamins. I'll change my wording for you Mr. Grammar.
And in case you didn't know Smoothie wrote: | apiece each. | is redundant. |

What? Like filling your car with scrap metal, then rolling it over a cliff? Yeah, you would get hurt, not much different from any other car? Or do you mean the glass hatch? |
