Been using Repco/Metal Master pads on the old #27 since day one in PCA racing. Stop great and excellent wear and low dusting.

Drawback cannot get them localy.

See my local Autozone carries Performance Friction Carbon Metalics in stock for about the same price.

Anyone use them???

I've used them but it has been a little while. IIRC, they come in "colors" that define the pad characteristics. If these are the ones I'm thinking of, I used blues on the front and reds (?) on the rear.

They had good wear characteristics and good tourque once warmed up. Little or no fade, didn't grab and were easy to modulate. Didn't eat rotors. On a scale of 1-10 for performance, longevity, dusting, etc..., probably 8.5 or 9...

VS (aka Mr Bosch) will have an opinion, so see what he says...

I've never used the Peformance Friction pads on my Porsche before, so I don't know how much this helps.

I use the Porterfield R-4 compound on my car (autocross car). These are really good pads - very high initial friction, work great cold or hot, and are very easy to modulate. Downsides are a _TON_ of dusting, and nasty low speed squealing.

As for the Performance Friction pads, I did use a set of them on my 1997 F-150 tow vehicle. I didn't like them at all for daily driving. They didn't work at all when cold, made a lot of dust, and didn't last very long. Not a very good pad for a tow vehicle/daily driver.
