To make a long story short...
The Porsche factory horn on my 924S weighed a whopping 7lbs. I have removed it due to it not working and replaced it with a new unit from Pep Boys. The replacement was about $13 and weighs a measly 1lb.
The car feals faster already!
Thanks to all who helped me determine the Porsche horn had failed.

an other way of reducing weight is to clean the floor carpets. I just cleaned the used ones I got (converting the interior to black from beige), cleaned them all day, now they feel much lighter.
Hmm, I mean darker then those in the car but somehow lighter |
