I was looking at a mazda miata last day and when I looked at the interior, I notice the dash: it’s just like my good old porsche! Even the ashtray is exactly the same! Could Porsche made it for them?

Those Japanese! They make good car, but for imagination, their zero!

Looks like a normal dash to me. I really don't see the resemblence besides the ash tray and even that is a stretch. The 924 dash is nothing special and looks like every other car on the road. Gauge pod, glove box, center console, radio, and heater controls are all in standard positions.

I really doubt that A Japanese Comapnay would import dashes from Germany (it makes no sense).

in general appearance I mean
Not every car has that gauge pod like this one, for the shape. For the ash tray, it’s the same, except for the color. At each side, the same hole for ventilation. Same thing for the others holes in the center console, except its gauges in the Porsche. The doors also, the doors speakers, even the seats…

For the import thing, I don’t really think mazda buy for the German. Still, it’s not uncommon that a company buys parts from another one, to minimize the cost.

Their other dash of the same years without any resemblence

MY GOD! You're right. Maybe a dash swap is in order.
