Hey guys I just met the guy with a silver 1981 931 (the guy who needed the fender), he works at a local wrecking yard and gets parts for free/next to nothing so would I be able to get a list of parts compiled and what cars they came out of that would be needed to convert the 931 to efi, also would I need to buy a sepcial comp or can I use a pre programmed one out a specific car?
thanx _________________ 3 928s, |

thanx but no I was looking for parts that could be found on wrecked cars, IE ford probe uses bosch fuel injector ##### that requires abit of machining to fit in the 931 head but will work nice _________________ 3 928s, |

so Liz, the search still isn't working for you
Reread http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=4923&highlight=efi for a list of parts you need to to convert to Delco (GM) EFI. Kojab down here in Sydney already has the maps worked out for a Delco computer on a 931.
He uses Bosch slim injectors (can't remember what they were off, possibly a Volvo) with adaptors he made up himself to screw into the 931 head. Having or knowing someone with a lathe would make it easier/cheaper to do adaptors.
Hit the web and find what EFI injectors are rated at around 50hp per injector and look for the thinest of those then see what cars they were used on. Oh, and make sure that the ECU you get can drive them. You want high impedence injectors for the Delco ECU.
If you plan on using a factory computer then a GM/Delco is the best choice. Computers from the mid-90s "J" cars are the easiest to reprogram. _________________ 1979 924 (Gone to a better place)
