so, if I were to take out the rear seats, did Porsche put carpet underneath them? that way, it wouldn't look like, red metal.... _________________ werd B. |

the seats dont have carpet under them, or at least none of mine do, they do have a sound deading material under them though _________________ 3 928s, |

Damn. I was hoping I could remove the rear seats, have it look something like the GT2, or somethin. with a pretty little name plaque in place of the seat. Think it'd be hard to fit a carpet to the contour under the rear seat? _________________ werd B. |

Think it'd be hard to fit a carpet to the contour under the rear seat?
I think using a single piece it would be very difficult. You would almost have to fashion the carpet using the seat as a guide.
On the other hand, if you take a look at what tiger boy did with his back seat, this is more typical of what you see. It looks like he fashioned some speaker boxes to fit into the seat wells and then carpeted around them.
I think if I were inclined to remove the back seats, that would be an ideal super woofer location  _________________ -Stu
