I am looking into obtaining the famous 'porsche' side decals.
There are a number of pictures of these in the books
'The original Porsche 924-944-968' by Peter Morgan (page 15) and
one in 'The Porsche 924/944 book' on page 18.
They are slightly different than some aftermarket side decals, which have
lines running over and under the lettering.
I was wondering if anybody saw these in real life. The vagueness/subtility of the fonts suggests that the fonts are not actually black. According to the parts
catalog the decal is 'black hatched' , which according to my dictionary
means 'composed of thin lines' , whatever that means....
Can someone help me out??
