|
|
| For the 1980 Porsche 924, what size is the steering wheel? 360MM (14.2 in), 350MM (13.8 in), 340MM (13.3 in), or 320MM (12.6 in). Also would a Momo Acropolis Evolution seat be able to fit the car, even if it had driver side seat bracket and optional seat base slider? Thank you! |

The two-spoke steering wheel and the three-spoke steering wheels are 380mm. The 4-spoke steering wheel is 360mm. _________________ Jon Furst |

Also, the 3 spoke and probably some others are offset so there's more space below the wheel for legroom when it's steered straight ahead. I don't know, maybe you have some use for this info, whatever. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

| Don't worry, it's helpful info. Thanks. Now about the seats... |

| Would I still be able to effectively drive if I use a steering wheel that was 350MM in my 924 which has the three spoke (380MM)? |

I can't imagine that making an unsafe difference - might just add some girth to the biceps.
If you do go for that and find you're uncomfortable with it, something like a Wheelskins cover can be used to increase the cross-section of the wheel and allow a better grip.

| I am thinking of switching it to a Momo Runner (360MM) with a Momo Hub and Horn Buttons. |

I have a MOMO Corsa steering wheel brand new still in the original box. On a track car I prefer to use the stock wheel. I don't drive the car on the street with track tires. All black leather wrapped.
Therefore I am selling the wheels for $160 plus freight.
Email me if interested.
On the 931 it is the best thing I ever bought for any car. Feels great and looks good. |
