Just received my Fuel Pressure Tester from www.bmpdesign.com. Very good construction with airhose type connections for all the adapters. The 3 1/2 inch dial is rubberized. Great price too: $ 59.95

I'm off to do more damage! Now if I can get an exhaust gas anaylizer for Christmas!

I hooked up the fuel pressure tester to the fuel line on top of the distributor, the other end was connected to the fuel fitting going to the WUR. The cold control pressure indicated 83 psi. Opening or closing the valve gave the same reading. Even with the engine warmed up the reading stayed the same. The at rest pressure was 33 psi.

I'm now looking for a WUR for a 81.

Hooked up the fuel pressure tester today and this time I pulled the return line from the WUR to the fuel distrubitor off. The fuel pressure was the same no matter if the tester valve was off or on. So the control pressure is always is the fuel pump pressure on the plunger. WUR is clogged up.

Anyone have one they could send me for a 81 931? The suspect WUR also has a vacumm port on it.

Reply to email please.

Thank you;

Michael
