Looks to me like it was a parts car or project car, before it was wrecked, no wonder the Insurance company totalled it.
With the rust and the bad interior, I would guess that the corrosion on the mechanicals will be heavy as well. |

The car has had some major bodywork at some point prior to the accident. Note all the missing trim, and how the driver's door is significantly less faded than the rest of the paint. Someone hit a guardrail with the driver's side of the car I'll bet.

and actually if you look at the avatars they are slightly different his is brighter but also fuzzy, yours is a very clean photo _________________ 3 928s, |

Been using it as my AIM logo since then, and I just imported it when I came to this board. One of these days I'll get around to making an avatar out of a picture of my 914 2.0 but until then the crest stays.

The entire car with a running engine went for $600. Unfrigginbelievable.
Man I wish one of these would come up somewhat close to where I live. I could have my own parts shop including a complete engine.  _________________ -Stu
