Is the carpeting from a series II 924, or a 944 interchangeable with the Series I models? In the archives there are several posts about aftermarket carpeting and sources, but I couldn't find a mention about taking the carpet from a 944 and using it in an early model 924.

If the 944 carpet will work, are there any "gotcha's" with fit and finish between the two models?
