Buy a new one. Performance Products sells them for $22.95, so you should be able to get one for cheaper somewhere else.

I'll add my voice to the chorus. This is one of those cheap parts, not worth scrounging and shipping. It's a standard VW/Audi part.

the one being sold now a days requires a special spanner wrench. The nut is gone on the new style and they have two holes to stick the spanner style wrench in. Much like the 944 balance shaft pully holder tool.

This was a couple years back when I bought the last one. Let me know what you find.

Basically any of the 8V engines, as with the timing belt. Just go straight up and ask for the part (026 109 243 F), they'll be able to find it.

Oh, yeah, BTW, it's listed with cross-references in the Parts page on 924.org under Camshaft Drive. There are so many cross-refs I will not list them all here.

Joe, I bought one last year at NAPA. It was about 15 bucks. It is still the old style, just like your broken one.

Lizard, you never know. The starter on my 931 quit yesterday. I replaced it two years ago, and it is under warantee. But Pep Boys no longer has a listing for it. They offered to refund my purchase price, but of course, they are much more expensive now. I paid $87 US for the Pep Boys starter. NAPA now wants $250. I ordered it from Checker today for $119.
