Hi everyone,

my baby started acting up again, and I think there might be coolant in the combustion chamber causing the issues… currently i can start it, it really doesnt want to though, when i do get it started it idles extremely rough and will stall if i take my eye off it. When driving it will try to stall the second i take my foot off the clutch in gear resulting in me “limping the car home”, couldnt get it above 20mph. The engine was much hotter than normal during this time. there are white deposits on the spark plugs but no smoke coming out the exhaust. I could really use some advice on this i cant really find much online or in the haynes manual.

Time to do a leak down test or compression check if you don't have a leak down tester. Next step would be to pressurize the cooling system to see if it holds. Any of these tests require a special tool that you can buy at your auto parts store or on-line.
