I plan to swap an assembled short block out of a 1980 924 into a early 1977 with a bad bottom end but good head. Am I going to run into any weird issues with the HG or accessory mounting issues? With that said I've got at least two motors I plan on rebuilding and was wondering if mittlemotor is really the only place left to get stock conrod bearings...Will likely end up reusing originals if that's the case.
Cheers

If the cranks need ground and they should at least be polished, the last time I talked to EBS Racing they had the first undersize connecting rod bearings as well as the Chinese main bearings. Hope that helps. I also have a set of the second undersize (.5) that I found cheap on ebay a while back.

Excellent offer, so tempting to build a stroker 924.
Would you be able to build new custom cranks or modify old ones?

I sent you a PM about ordering some things Karlio, in the same thought as morghen as well though. Could you do a stroker kit? I have one build I plan on giving all the beans too and have been pondering a higher displacement setup. Cheers
