Can any one answer this questions about the Audi 5 speed

Hi Hayes.



I'm trying to get some custom made straightcut gears-can anyone answer these questions about the 16/9 Audi box

In order to proceed, we need to see the physical design of the syncro system of these early gear sets.

Do you (or anyone) have a gearbox apart so we could examine?

Basically we need to know if the syncro cone can be separated from the existing gear.

Some are pressed on a spline and others are heliarced welded in place from the factory.

This will determine the cost of the conversation.
