Ok. I have ai 1988 924s in black. Rear right side 924s decal is in very bad shape. Faded, etc. I tried removing it today with a credit car and blow driver. Hardly did anything. Decal seems to be original and seems to be embedded. Very frustrating. Just scratches original paint. I did order a replacement decal that supposed to be same dimentions. Not true, its much smaller. Getting very frustrated. Ger.  |

I just removed the side PORSCH decals today
Start with blow dryer on high/hot on edge of decal for a minute or 2 also run across the whole decal for a few minutes
Use your fingernail to start an edge of the decal to peel after several efforts
Eventually a small portion will peel up just enough to pull with 2 fingers in a slow movement. It will peel back with out breaking , just go slow and steady
Had to do this for each letter , not that difficult but you must get an edge started…. |
